R&D and production expansion
A second plant opens near the headquarters, housing a dedicated R&D division and new production lines. With this expansion, DISAN accelerates product development and strengthens its ability to handle large, complex projects worldwide.
2000
New headquarters in Bolzano
Production and administration move to the city of Bolzano, in the Italian Alps, a region renowned for precision craftsmanship and a highly skilled workforce. The new site provides the space needed to expand production and serve international customers better.
1990
The company is founded
Kurt and Monika Sanfl officially found DISAN GmbH and start in-house production of the first units, some of which are still running today. The goal is clear from day one: robust construction, reliable suction and lasting support for installers.
1986
The idea takes shape
In the mid-1980s, the Sanfl family begins developing the first prototypes of central vacuum systems, driven by the ambition to make cleaning quieter, more efficient and better suited to modern architecture.
